U11 SV Thaur

SV Thaur currently has about 500 members. The focus is mainly on the 10 junior teams – from U7 to U18 – who all take part in the matches of the Tyrolean Football Association.  They are looked after by approx. 20 dedicated coaches. For the very little ones, SV Thaur offers the so-called football children’s garden for kids between 4 and 6 years, in the U15 and U16 there is a play community with the SV Absam.

The “Kick-Camp” of SV Thaur in the last holiday week has become a tradition, where the “rusty” legs of the boys and girls are brought back to life after summer break. The camp offers training sessions as well as insights into other sports. On the last day various competitions including an award ceremony take place. Apart from football, the SV Thaur commits itself on a social basis. For example, the clusb has made a successful debut at the Tiroler Herzlauf 2018. The SV Thaur is still the host of this great running event, where besides sport and the good cause, the main focus is on the young participants.

The whole season of 2018/19 the boys of the U11 team play one league higher, in order to be able to develop furtherThis applies for the autumn and spring championships but also for many tournaments. Of course, one or two losses have to be overcome, but the pride is even bigger after successful tournaments and matches.

A highlight of every football season is the Tyrolean Indoor Championship, where only 4 field players are used in. Furthermore, some players train in the VORLAZ and therefore it is really important to strengthen the team spirit with common activities. This happens especially during the training camps during the Easter holidays and in the early summer at the Wolfgangsee. Cliff jumping, boating and swimming are enjoyed not only by the boys but also by all the family members.
