„Kids meet their Idols“ 2015

With the slogan “Kids meet their Idols” we organized this year for the third time a cross-country skiing training session for children of Tyrolean clubs and the Nordic combined Austrian national team.

Over 60 young talents took the chance and came to the training session with the professional athletes, who are great model roles. They got the possibility to learn something from the professionals and got some special tips of world cup stars.

The Olympic winners Christoph Bieler and Mario Stecher and also youngster Fabian Steindl gave the kids some useful tips and experiences to take on their way. The motivation and ambition, as well as the joy were written on the children’s faces. After a sportive session the kids got autographs and photographs with their idols.

„It is great to see how many fun the kids have at cross-country skiing and how they implement the tips and help immediately“, all the professionals said unanimous.

„The cross-country skiing was very arduous today, but it was big fun. To practice with a world cup athlete and look at their technique is a great experience“, was the voice of the kids.

A very big thanks goes to all athletes and as well to the sponsors Manner, Recheis and Holly Kaffee for their support.

JumpandReach supports a club on their young athletes work at first time

For the first time JumpandReach supports a sport club (UHC Absam) at their young athletes work. Since many years JumpandReach supports young athletes at their sportive and personal development. In this context many clubs came up to us and asked for support. To fulfil these requests we worked on a young athletes program for sports clubs as it was possible and in harmony with our philosophy. This concerns financial support and provision of know-how.

The project „club sponsoring“ is going to be financed out of the funding pot. Only clubs with a distinguished young athletes work will be supported. To be sure that our support goes targeted to the young athletes work, the clubs have to report about their activities once a year. The clubs have not to report about their sportive success, but about their work with young athletes in general. We are looking forward to a great cooperation!
JaR-founder Patrick Murnig: „It is my desire to support and accompany children and young athletes in a way. Therefore I am happy that with this project we take some steps forward and accomplish an input in this development.
