“Christmas greetings” for the Innsbruck Children’s Hospital

The JumpandReach family has been supporting the children’s hospital of Innsbruck for many years. The annual visits of Stefan Kraft, Michael Hayböck and Co. made the children’s eyes light up every time. Due to the corona-related precautionary measures, it was unfortunately not possible to give the children time and chat, laugh and play with them during the last months.

For this reason, there was – adapted to the special times – a very special “Christmas greeting” of the JumpandReach family together with Manner for the Children’s Hospital Innsbruck. The staff was also allowed to choose a JumpandReach Spirit shirt. By working every day with respect, friendship and passion for the children and their families, the employees are perfect ambassadors of the JumpandReach Spirit – it connects people for whom personal values are important.

The staff and subsequently the children were delighted with the tasty delicacies. In this way, a huge thank you to each and every one for their tireless commitment to the kids at the children’s hospital!

Welcome to the JumpandReach family, SV Absam U12!

The soccer players of the U11 of SV Absam are the newest members of the kids(e)motion initiative of JumpandReach. Already in previous years, one junior team from Absam was always supported, which is now clearing the way for a younger generation. The youth work at SV Absam is a successful example of what extensive and effective support for young talent can look like. Because it is not only about sporting success, but also about giving the children something personally – team spirit, commitment and fun are always at the top of the list.

The kids(e)motion initiative has set itself the goal of supporting children and getting them excited about sports and exercise. Through the unique concept, children should receive the best possible sporting and, above all, personal support. Sporting success is of secondary importance, the focus of kids(e)motion is on personal development. The joy of movement and sport is important, as is the teaching values such as fairness, respect, ambition and discipline. This strengthens personality development, self-confidence and social skills. In the future, joint projects will again be implemented in order to convey the fun of sports to the children and to enable an exchange with their role models.

JumpandReach founder Patrick Murnig: “Getting children excited about sports in the long term and encouraging them in their goals has always been a major priority for us. However, personality development and the teaching of important values such as respect, friendship and team spirit are always important to us. I’m delighted to be continuing our long-term cooperation with SV Absam into the third generation, as their work with young talent is absolutely in line with our values.”

kids(e)motion hiking day with the JaR family

Again this year, the now traditional JumpandReach for friends took place. Together with their idols Stefan Kraft, Johannes Lamparter, Chiara Kreuzer, Dominik Terzer, Christian Deuschl, Marco Pichlmayer and Benjamin Pranter the children of the JumpandReach youth development kids(e)motion – kids from clubs in Salzburg and Tyrol – were able to spend an exciting and sporty day in the mountains. During a joint hike to the “Kaltwassersee” and afterwards to the “Hochegg Alm”, the kids had enough time to get to know their role models personally, including photos, selfies and autographs.

In addition to the hike, the common “fun” was on the program and the “young wild ones” challenged the JaR athletes at “Spike Ball”, volleyball or frisbee. After a delicious snack of Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn, the group headed back down into the valley. So the children could spend an unforgettable and eventful day hiking together with their role models and enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding mountain scenery.

Stefan Kraft: “We have been coming together here at JumpandReach for friends for many years now. It’s a fixed point that I always enjoy coming to. The hike today with the kids was really great. They asked a lot of interesting questions and made us sweat quite nicely during volleyball, spikeball & co. ;-).”

Johannes Lamparter: “The days at this year’s JumpandReach for friends were great. The kids were highly motivated and really pestered me with questions, and when I can pass on tips to them with my answers, it’s a really great thing for me. Getting kids into sport is simply good for them and we all really enjoyed it together.”

Chiara Hölzl: “This family reunion was once again more than successful. Especially the hike with the kids was really nice and the kids were super interested and asked quite eagerly. Many smiling children’s faces in dream weather, that was more than fun not only for the kids, but also for me and my dog “Carla” ;-)”

Sparkling children’s eyes at the special Pizza dinner with the JumpandReach athletes

The last weekend the annual JumpandReach for friends took place: A cosy come-together of the whole Jumpandreach family, where of course we didn’t want to miss out on our young talents of SV Absam, SV Thaur and FC Nüziders.

This special evening afforded the opportunity for the young talents of the jumpandreach promotion of young athletes to get some useful tips from the JaR-athletes Stefan Kraft, Michael Hayböck, Johannes Lamparter, Dominik Terzer and Christian Deuschl and to ask them, what they always wanted to know about professional sports.

The exciting evening ended with everyone eating ice cream and some great showed card tricks by the kids. An evening, which definitely will stay in the minds for a long time.

New addition to the JaR young athletes support – Welcome FC Nüziders U11

With our campaign to promote children and young sport talents, a special project was initiated a couple years ago. The unique concept is about supporting youth teams, which do outstanding work  in order to ensure the best possible sportive and personal development of their kids. With FC Nüziders U11 we proudly welcome another team to the JumpandReach family!

For JumpandReach the major point in choosing a team for our special support project, is not primarily the sportive accomplishment – the teaching of values like fairness, discipline, ambition and respect and an intensive support of young talents are most important to us. In all these points, FC Nüziders U11 sets a good example and therefore fits perfectly into our JumpandReach family.

JaR founder Patrick Murnig: „It has always been important to us to accompany children and young athletes in one or the other way and to support them in accomplishing their goals. Therefore we are very happy to contribute in the development of young athletes! We are glad to have FC Nüziders from Vorarlberg with us!“

Football afternoon in Seefeld

This year again, the annual JumpandReach for friends took place in the Olympic region Seefeld, with the upcoming Nordic World Ski Championship making it a special occasion.

On this Saturday afternoon, directly in front of the championship ski jump in Seefeld, the focus was on the kids of the JumpandReach youth development. After the welcoming, the action started immediately with a two vs. two tournament in the Energie AG football cage. Besides the kids competing against each other, they also had the opportunity to step up against their idols around Stefan Kraft and Michael Hayböck. Like every year, our athletes gladly took the opportunity to be part of the event. Apart from the football cage, there were many other attractions, like a penalty shootout, a juggling competition and a crossbar challenge, where the kids proved their skills against each other and the JaR athletes. At the following show training of the goalkeepers of the Tyrolian football academy, the little ones could get an insight into the impressive training routines of professional keepers. The jump exercises of our “goalkeeper coaches” Michi Hayböck and Stefan Kraft left the kids astonished.

The final seven vs. seven match with the whole JumpandReach family and an amazing atmosphere from the outside, gave the kids another chance to be on the pitch with their idols. Of course in the end everybody had the opportunity to get a selfie or an autograph with their stars.

All in all it was a really successful event again for kids and athletes that will stay in their minds for quite some time.

Lis Raudaschl stays ambassador

Next week the only 20 years old ski jumper Lis Raudaschl will start in a new world cup season, her first world cup season with Olympic Games. The main goal for the young Upper Austrian is to show a constant performance: “I worked very focused this summer and I think I made a big step forward. The goal is to live it up to the world cup season and to show a constant performance. We will see how good that will be compared to the other jumpers. Nevertheless it’s a fact that being part of Olympic Games is big dream of mine wish I would like to fulfill, but there is much to do till then.”

But she does not only have ambition to achieve a great performance with her, she also has an important matter in her bag – to inspire kids for sports and movement. That’s why she will jump again this season with the wording “kids(e)motion” on her helmet and is therefore still our important ambassador of this initiative. Kids(e)motion stands for enthusiasm for sports and movement as well as for sportive values like ambition, discipline, fair play and respect. Exactly those are the things Lis tries to set an example for kids.

We wish her a lot of success for this season and that she will be able to carry the idea of this initiative further, to become involved in the development of kids and young athletes.

Rauch supports kids(e)motion initiative further on

Since a little bit more than one year, Rauch Fruit Juices supports energetically – as sponsor of JumpandReach – the work for and with kids. The Austrian family company will be an important crutch (in the scope of our kids(e)motion initiative, which covers all kids projects) for implementing our many activities with kids, like “Kids meet their Idols”, the JaR young athletes promotion or activities with the SOS Children Villages.

Since several years from now, JumpandReach works actively on getting kids to sports and exercise, in order to mediate life values, like respect, fair play, ambition and discipline.

“That’s why we are very happy to have Rauch still with us, as a strong and dedicated partner. Out goal is to expand our kids projects even more with this support. Enthusiasm for sports and movement do kids experience in groups more intense, steady and playfully. A healthy attitude towards movement is the basis for having fun doing sports and trying to be the best. Values play also a very big role in our work with top athletes and we want to give those kids important values to take them along for their life. Rauch supports this idea and gives us the opportunity to do even more”, says JumpandReach founder Patrick Murnig.

Mag. Patrick Murnig – foundation member of the association of friends of children’s hospital Innsbruck

It was the beginning of November when it starts. The association of friends of children’s hospital Innsbruck was born with their first meeting. In the scope of a first personal arrangement with all members of the committee of honour, academic council and the association members it was a first come together and discussion about the first steps.

Extract from the Statutes: Die Association hast the goal, to support and promote the children’s hospital Innsbruck. That should be possible with different initiatives…

Because of that is the group of foundation members created a various mix of different personalities. On this base there should be more support for the children’s hospital and their challenges generated in the future. Ea. Silvia Platter, Christine Thöni, Univ. Prof. Dr. Tilg, Danna Swarovski, Elisabeth Gehrer and Dr. Alexandra Kofler were has been a part of the first arrangement.

„For me it is a desire since years that we have the responsibility to stand up for our children, to help them in their personal development, to give them values, the help where help is needed AND to sharpen the awareness, that we are a model role for them. The first contacts with the children’s hospital showed me that the workforce under the leading of Univ. Prof. Dr. Gaedicke act in concert and have a high engagement that is appreciable for the children. The children had (as usual) a pleasure with our time“, Patrick Murnig says. „Andi t is a pleasure for me to be suggested as a foundation member in a group of very important personalities“. His tasks will be the supporting and coordination of sportive initiatives and activities of the associations and the children’s hospital.

U11-U12 of SV Absam, the next teams at the JumpandReach young athletes supporting project

Last year JumpandReach coined a new project for the support of children and young athletes. The goal is to help together with the club to support the kids in their sportive and as well personal development. The U11/U12 team of SV Absam is the next team who is gets the young athletes support.

Main focus at the elective of the supporting clubs is their work with children. The SV Absam is a model role for support of young athletes and because of that it fits perfect to the JumpandReach young athletes project. It is not about the sportive success of the club, but to show them fun at sports and also support them in their personal development (ea. trough the communication of values like ambition, fairness, discipline and respect).

JaR-founder Patrick Murnig: „It is my desire to support and accompany children and young athletes in a way. Therefore I am happy that with this project we take some steps forward and accomplish an input in this development.
